These facts that you read are a twisted and racist propaganda of people with ulterior motives, as for transparency, we all know how transparent US is, lets not even get into that. Btw, in India, criticizing ones faith and its practices will not get that person ostracized, rather its actively encouraged, thats what makes the Hindu faith so dynamic and it manages to survive throughout all the history's onslaughts from Islam and Christianity.
