A tourist in your own town?

As I was posting something under the "Happy Spot" thread, it ocurred to me how little we often take advantage of the fun things to do and see in our own home towns.

I live near Washington, DC and so there's no shortage of things to see and do here. I'm curious what some of you do or would do in your own home towns if you were a tourist there?

I love the Smithsonian Museums, particularly the art museums, the Corcoran, the NGA, the National Portrait Gallery, the Renwick, the Philips Collection, etc.

Never been to the Spy Museum, but plan to. The Air and Space Museum is outstanding.

Where do you live and what do you consider worth a trip to see there?
