Cabin Filters behind glovebox: I replaced mine last year, gritted my teeth and yanked on the glovebox door as directed. Stopped midway this year, not wanting to put that much force on it ever again.

After the 6 (or 8) screws are out, be sure your hands are clean - back of the knuckles too! Working from the outer edges, put your fingers (palms up) under the lower front edge of the glovebox door, and slide them towards the center. Curl fingers to apply slight upward pressure - that will release the catch in lower center. This should save you from breaking the glovebox door hinges - and will be even more important as the plastic ages and becomes fragile.

Carbon Filters under glovebox: Much easier to replace than the cabin filters!!

Remove the underdash panel and locate the two white plastic slide clamps to hold the air chamber doors in place. Note the shape, location and orientation of the existing filters (and doors); replace one at a time to eliminate confusion / misalignment / frustration, etc.

Be sure to seat the chamber doors correctly and align the plastic slide clamps properly. The slides should stop when they are fully seated; if they don't, the chamber door isn't seated correctly. May take a try or two to get it right.
