Mystery object... What is THIS???!!!
I found this under the seat of my sons Mercedes... 
I have failed to figure out if it is something that fell off... or a tool that someone left in the car! 
HELP!
Edit:
Its about 6" long and weighs about a pound or so. The black part rivited on is spring steel.
