You work on refuelers don't you? I think the KC-10 has the best service record in the entire Airforce, is that correct?
Yes, KC-135E maintenance. We're (finally) getting R models this year. The KC-10 is a neat plane, but limited sometimes by its size. You can squeeze a couple of 135's in the ramp space that a KC-10 would use, but, then, you can squeeze several 135's worth of fuel load onto a single KC-10. I know some bases just can't accommodate a KC-10. When we left Guam last year, the next tour was handled by KC-10's, and I watched them unload one while on alert on the ramp. I couldn't believe the amount of equipment and people who got off that thing. It was like a bottomless pit of stuff and folks streaming off.

Tankers are just cool in general. I likes 'em!
