IIRC, human reproduction is a wee bit more complex than plant reproduction. What plant has a CNS as developed as that found in human being? Is the fetus living tissue? Yes. However, so is the cancer cells in the human body. Cell division still continues in the body even if the brain is damaged enough where it is kept "alive" only by machines. What definition of "alive" are you using? "coarse" as in rough or what?
