Another Trunk Seal Thread...

I've searched and understand about getting the channel nice and clean and perhaps using some rust converter if needed (it is needed), and maybe some 3M gasket seal.

Anyway, what I'm not clear on is whether I have the seal oriented properly. Does the concave side of the rubber ring go inside while the more convex side is oriented outward? I haven't glued it at this point, but it seems to fit best this way.

After fitting in the not-yet-glued seal, I have maybe 2 inches or excess. Would I actually cut/trim the seal, say at some strategic point for "fit" ?

Muchas gracias ,

Chuck
