Hi TV, No I dont belong to any Jeep forum, I do "peek in the door" once and a while to see what is going on, But I see mostly Kids in there and many are going about things the wong way, Hell I am 60,s Kid and I am getting to old to crawl around under these rigs any more, so my Jeeps are done. I have owned every 4X4 made I beleive. And I thought I would try this Benz for my wife, It drives very nice for a older car, It is a 92 300E 2.6 I picked it up from a gal who said it was burning oil, and she took it to a Mecanic and he told her that it needed a valve Job at about 2100 smacks. So I bought it from her and a I, along with a friend that knows a little about these cars, Did all kinds of test and come to find out all it needed was Valve seals. i AM AMAZAED how easy they are to work on, If you have the right tools of corse. By the way thanks for the tip on the Brake pads . I am taking these off very soon hell I only have 300 miles on them but they dust up the wheels so bad, I run Performance Friction on all my Jeeps they stop very well and very little dusting, I dont think They make pads for Mercedes though, again thanx guys for the imput.
