That's crazy. Carry-in wheels are a lot less labor and time involved.

On the tire with the bulge or bubble - replace that immediately and don't drive on it any more. That's a blowout waiting to happen. I had one bad enough to feel it at slow speeds as the bulge hit the pavement. Got that one off the car ASAP.

My additional strategy with Sears, BJs, Costco and the like is to remark that there's another store (of the same franchise) near where I work, and that they'd probably sell me the tire if this particular person/store didn't want to. Then head on out.

As soon as BJs has another Michelin sale I'll let you know how I do with loose wheels. I have the tire picked out from their selection and the rims ready - just need a sale.
