I have a 1991 300E 4MATIC. I am trying to learn about my SLS system and i have a question about the pump.

I may be very wrong here. But from what i can tell, the reservoir is connected directly into the Power Steering Pump. From there i only see two more lines connected to the reservoir.

If this is the case. What kind of fluid should i be using for my system?
