No problem bolting everything up. There was a few differences in the throttle linkage, and glow plug sys between Early (pre 80) and later W123s. So your best bet would be a "later" engine since your putting it in an 82 body. If its an automatic you will of course need to install a pilot bearing and get all the clutch stuff. Then theres the issue of balancing the flywheel. All very doable.
