Sounds like it could be the fuel distributor. They develop leaks in the diaphragm between the upper and lower chambers. The age of your car makes it a prime candidate for replacement. Not easy to check. Verifying non-linear and unbalanced fuel flow requires special instruments to check. Its usually the last thing to replace since it is expensive. I have had to replace 3 in my fleet so far.
