I liked mine but the charger jack lost its grip early on. I had to rig a rubber band to hold it in place. Morotola improved that feature big time. I'm on my third cell lifetime, my third Moto, a V710 and trust me, it's a big step up from a Startak. The calender feature is very handy: got a doctor's appointment in a few weeks? Put in a couple of reminders for a few days ahead of time.
Your phone will give you a ringy dingy -- I use a different tone for calls, calender events, and voice mail like everyone else I imagine -- and it makes for fewer missed appointments.
The camera is not that good but it's come in handy in a pinch. Would be good if you get in an accident and you want to document things exactly as they are.
