Chevy Dealer = DexCool, DexCool = cooling system problems.

Perhaps this was a vague reference to the cooling system problems caused by DexCool?? Maybe the DexCool is precipitating solid matter, which is "gelling" in the heater core?

Mind you, just a guess.
