If it works (which I doubt) it will gain popularity and be a big hit. Not likely.

While we're on the subject, I had an amazing thing happen a couple of years ago. The fuel filter on my wifes ML320 went bad. It wouldn't hold pressure, which made the pressure bleed off, which made it really hard to start after sitting for a while (like, in the morning).

We ran it like this for several months. While it was in this state, we noticed that the fuel economy was great, like 29-30 mpg on the highway, as read on the driving computer readout. We were so impressed by MB! When we had the filter replaced, the fuel economy went back to normal, 20-21 mpg.

Maybe the reading on the computer were fouled up while the filter was bad, giving us bogus readings, or something like that. Unfortunately, we just believed the readings and never bothered to do a manual calculation, so I don't know if we were really getting that mileage, or not. Oh, well, it was fun while it lasted!
