That would be the proper way but it involves removing the headliner to about the back seats. That's how I got my manual parts, I just cut the headliner out of a 250, unbolted it from the roof and got the parts I needed.

Getting it out would be easy but getting the 22+ year old headliner back on straight, that's the hard part.
