While women may not prattle any more than men, I think they far exceed men in cell airtime usage minutes (and land line usage when cell technology wasn't readily available). My own bills prove that!

I wonder if some stereotypes stem from behavior from childhood. Girls develop faster than boys and start to exercise their command of language sooner. Little girls are far chattier than little boys.
