I have nearly the same problem. All adjustments work:left,right,up & down. However, the "left-right "range" is incorrect. The mirror needs to be adjusted inward (left) a bit more. In the current position, at the leftmost end of the operating range, I still cannot see the right side of the car from the driver's seat. I have tried to manually move the mirror more inward, but I'm afraid any more force I use will break the mirror.
