I found more after a few hours with the test light.
The black/yellow wire that is the orginal power wire to the becker unit... is hot when the door is open. thru the no1 fuse... On the wiring diagram in the FSM it says that circuit powers the radio and a couple of other things and should be hot while key is in the on position.
When the door opens I can hear a relay click and the circuit goes hot on the first side of the fuse. Circuit is then dead if the door is shut, but again comes on with the key in the on position.
anybody know if this is natural?
