Thanks for all the tips and support, you guys. I spent about an hour and a half splicing the W140 regulator into the W210 chassis harness. I am not the best with a soldering gun...but hopefully the connections are good enough and the heat-shrink tubing holds things tight.

Either way, I'm reporting success: The blower seems to be going strong, the automatic function is restored, and the car isn't burning hot in the cabin any more. Happy times.

I'll keep an eye on it for the next week or two -- I need everything in top form for an upcoming road trip! Thanks again, guys --
