You most likely need the complete switch assembly. Takes a good MB tech with the correct tools about 1-1.25 hrs.

Whoa there are those words I dread "correct tools". What would those be, a steering wheel puller??? I am lightly considering it but ahh i dunno if I want to DIY on this one.

Strange thing is I did one of these repairs on an old Ford (hand me down) PINTO!! I had as a kid, but I am assuming things have changed in the last 400 years!
