Well, I bought it second hand, so I do not know if it using more than usual. But I measured the consumption to be 0.7 liters per 10 kilometeres (33,6 mpg), which is only slightly above the announced urban consumption (32.8 mpg).
I find it strange in a forum like this that nobody else has had the same experience with the Mercedes 2,2 liter or other diesels!
