ACC servo

Slydel,

Back in the 70s Mercedes was trying hard to hang all the junk on their cars to appeal to the Caddie and Lincoln owners. They came over by boat with no A/C,cruise control,or climate control. They licensed a crappy cruise control from Ford that never worked. They contracted with Fridgiking to build factory installed looking units that were actually installed at the dealer if the buyer paid for the option. As has been mentioned they bought a system from Chrysler which,in my opinion, was the worst on the market. Many an engine was replaced because the servo sprung a leak and pumped the coolant out at highway speeds. So much for the history lesson. To answer your question, the 06 servo goes in the 123 chassis, and the 03 servo goes in the 107 and 116 chassis. If you switch them your heater flaps won't work right.Did you notice that bundle of vacuum lines that plugs into the unit? Hope this info helps. Peter
