Bah you don't have to touch the headliner. The sunroof is probably the same as the one in my sedan. I spent like $700 a couple years ago to replace the entire sunroof, and it was cake. I don't know what the big deal is, as long as you don't have to touch the cable its easy.

It probably just needs to be lubed.

Take it to MB of North Haven, or Sports and Imports on the post road.
