722.3 transmission problem

OK all you tranny experts, here's the question. Reverse delay, sometimes long 5-8 seconds, sometimes normal 1 sec or less. Does not seem to be related to temp, ie, cold versus warm. Line pressure at idle is 82-85 psi in drive, 140-150 psi in drive at converter stall. If this were a seal in front drum or input shaft, I wouldn't expect it to vary as it does. My best guess is something hanging in the valve body. Haven't pulled base yet. Fluid is clean. Forward gears are fine. It's that darn MBZ reverse virus again

No matter what you fix, there will always be something else to fix..
"Warranty" is just another way of postponing the inevitable.
