I couldn't find the video.

The only way that stuff could raise compression is if the rings were gummed up and stuck and the stuff he used cleaned them and let the rings function they way they are supposed to do.

Did he dump the stuff in the tank or the oil? Maybe the stuff burns at a lower compression so it allows the engine to run with lower compression. But if the compression is low on a diesel it's in need of a rebuild. There aren't any quick and easy longterm solutions to fix loew compression.
