I think even in a Benz, one false move above 80 and you are probably toast. Of the two times I had my MB above 120, one was the day I bought it and it had just left the dealer (bought it from an individual, but he agreed to have the dealer straighten some issues out for me). I drove it on a stretch of I 20 on a clear day and held 120 for about......30 seconds

The second time I did it was driving down out of the mountains of Chattanooga, TN and it was almost like looking down a roller coaster for about 3 mi. Creeped past 125 for a minute, thought about my wife asleep next to me and don't think I have been over 100 since.

Not even in my Bugatti Veyron. Or my dad's Blackhawk.
