Well, for the cost of a new Kia you can basically have a new drive train in your 300D. That's what I'm planning when the time comes.

I'm just not sure you need that yet, how about bringing it to a good shop and having them go through it to find out what really needs to be done at this point? You may just need to take care of a bunch of little stuff for the next 100K miles or so.
