I've started doing that...I edited my post just after writing it, but you replied before I was done...and when the left turn signals are turned on, there is +12v at that wire and same for the right...I thought I was golden...then I jumpered power to the terminals (with the switch off), and no lights...

I'm going to go keep messing with it till I get sparks in my eyes, then I'm quitting.
