Finding vibrations like this is hard (stating the obvious).

I don't know that vibration at the joint is common, but any rotating part with free play will cause vibration. Are you sure that the vibration is coming from the driveshaft? If it goes away at higher speed, I'd suspect a tire. Driveshaft vibration could also go away at a higher speed, of course, but tires typically do this.
