C280 sat for some time (discovered spider webs in car while working on it)
accelerated poorly,attempted passing another car-tranmission downshifted but no additional power no fuel increase, performance progressively worsened

1.replaced fuel filter
results-car will start and die within two seconds
2.swapped out fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump with another C280 I own-same symptoms
3.Can hear throttle responding to throttle potentiometer
4.checked crankshaft position sensor-appeared ok
5.changed out throttle actuator-same sypmtoms
6.seems to be electrical-where is the equivalent to an OVP found in the '96 and earlier models. The '97 doesn't seem to have one
7.any other suggestions would be appreciated
