Glad to hear you found your problem! Intermittent electrical problems are one of the hardest to diagnosis/find. Give yourself a pat on the back and now others who may have the same problem will know where to look for a fix. One time I had a short - drove me nuts trying to find it until I discovered it was layer short in the main wiring harness. Replacing the main wiring harness solved the problem.
