No there is no difference in load or coasting it's speed related.
MB had a bulletin on this problem and the solution was to balance the shaft in the car or fix it with a damper on the rear axle housing and rear axle carrier.
Maybe this fix was when the car was new and under warranty i will remember my car have this damper I have a picture but I found no easy way to attach it on the message.
