BTW, is it easier on the 126 ('86) to get at the POD. All I've read on the 124's and others is, that it's kind of a PITA, but do-able.

Are you sure the center vent pod is NG? Did you attach a Mityvac directly to the pod? It's not easy to get to that pod...........sits way behind the CCU..........need very tiny hands...........fortunately I never had to do it.
