Good for you! They are scary smart and tough as nails. I have had to remove much larger tank-mates that tried bullying Tropheus individuals -- they (the Tropheus) would maneuver underneath and start ripping off belly scales with their mouths. I have never seen any other fish attempt such a tactic. If you haven't seen this behavior, trust me, it is devastating.
