Go to bootdisk.com and download the windows xp boot disk. Burn it to CD or DVD and boot of it. At the prompt, type c:/windows/system/inf. Locate the monitor drivers and delete them. Reboot without installing drivers and let windows plug and play the drivers for you. You should be good to go.
