It seems that whenever I start the car, it is resetting itself to start in "S mode" - 1st gear automatically. I prefer it to start in "W mode".

My old W140 as a physical switch which I can select, but for the W220 switch, can only press to toggle and the selection is shown on the instrument cluster.

Any ideas?
