After loosing out on a 560SL last week and searching hi and low for an alternative vehicle with history at a reasonable price, I'm coming to the conclusion I will never own a 560SL.

I had a drive of a 2001 SL600 yesterday and have fallen for it. I appreciate it is a completely different car, but after driving the V12 yesterday, I am prepared to walk away from a classic and buy a 2001 classic of the future

Does anyone have any stories, good or bad they can share about a SL600? I would like to know what I'm letting myself in for!
