I tried Rhode Island Calamari tonight. Quite different than the Calamari you might be used to at Carrabbas and similar places. The Calamari get floured and deep fried, as you might suspect, but then, they get tossed in a mixture of sauteed garlic and cherry peppers (and their juice).

The result is something resembling the standard calamari, but quite different, and definately delicious!!

Anybody else ever have Rhode Island Calamari? (what did you think?)
