Please read my post (#9 above). As an owner of an SL600, I point out that there is a dark side to the model - but that it also can be an awesome car to drive. However as a first-time SL, I would not necessarily recommend it. Personally, I absolutely love my SL600 and would have nothing else. When the day comes that I have to sell my cars, the SL600 will be the last to go. But I had MB, specifically SL, experience for years before acquiring the SL600.
