Presence of a spark is not always definitive proof that sufficient energy is available for ignition. Be very careful pulling spark plug wires - the resistor ends are extremely easy to damage - I use a narrow jaw visegrip to latch onto the metal shield crimp to work them off the plug tip. If they are damaged, get new ones to start. Removing the air cleaner housing using the three nuts holding it to the valve cover and intake manifold will show the airflow meter. Push down the sensing vane and check inside the body for raw fuel leakage - there should be none.
