I am going to hang my stupidity out here, but I really need some advice.
My horn has not worked for some time. Today I pulled the airbag off the steering wheel expecting to see a couple wires. Maybe a disconnected wire. Instead, I found a relay
. I have looked everywhere and can not see one in any technical information I have. I have called a couple indy's and they think I am smoking something funny.
Here is a picture of what I see and a diagram showing the relay circuit and the wires (by color) that are connected to it. What am I looking at and why is it there.
Have any of you looked under the airbag? What SHOULD be there? A little help from my technical buddies and maybe a monitor or two would be appreciated.
