There is so much to that vacuum system that we just don't see at first. And so much has been written in the past by members who I feel have become tired of answering questions. So I did a quick search in the search box on "transmission vacuum adjustments" and I came up with a huge list of them. Here is one that might really be worthy of a good read for you. I read it through a year or so ago and made a good mental note of where I could find it when I needed it, and so I will pass it on too you. This member, Samuel R. Ross, has really gone through this vacuum set up. Here is the thread, and I would think that if you follow it through you will solve your shifting problem. Best of luck in solving your problem. thanks for the response.
That thread(sams,as mentioned above) is the only thread that I actually subscribe too.IE-every time someone posts to it,a copy comes to me also.read the entire thing and will continue to read what ever gets added to it.I definitely understand the depth of the subject.Though i do not recall reading about something like my particular problem. But i will continue to try and figure it out.I will also read sams thread again! maybe I missed some mention of something similar.research is not something that I have a problem with.and as to the sugar /vinegar comparison......It seems to me that piles of crap attract even more than sugar or vinegar.
As I said before,it is "supposed" to be a help forum! Not a "you did not kiss my ass right to get an answer" forum!
