Believe me, there are good deals to be had. I bought my 82 300D for $2,400. It has 240,000 miles on it and it had a salvage title. I can' t tell you how many pieces of crap I looked at. I still can't believe how much people think they can get for their poorly maintained jalopies just because they are mercedes. Even though my mileage was high and the salvage title, It still was the best one I had ever seen. Ivory white with Navy blue interior, hardly a scratch. It has turned out to be all that. Doesn't consume one Drop of oil...!!!
