Ok, has anyone heard of the transmission control module going bad? I kinda have a feeling the shop is taking me for a ride... I drove the truck to the shop in limp mode, 15 miles at 3500 rpm and 30 mph...that was fun in itself... with the intention of getting the code erased from the trans cpu. He says that the trans cpu is bad because it wont except a new flash...but wouldnt this render the truck undriveable? I am confused, because the cpu is still allowing function, ie, limp mode and stability control, sport mode, etc... Its still only throwing the P0715 code.

Any help would again be greatly appreciated.
