HI guys,

i'm converting my manual 4 speed 280GE with a 617a auto tranny combo:
I can get a auto shifter assembly that has a switch for Economy and Sport options wich in my aplication is usless. But I was thinking if it were properly wired (to the kickdown circuit) could that switch be used to have the slushbox start or stay in first gear with the shifter lever in second gear? Asuming it does not alreday always start in first gear.

I might be wrong with this thinking.
