Replaced short block one time then a complete "caged engine" the second time. Many parts still original---brake rotors replaced the first time at about 700,000 miles---a little worn, but did the job. Or, put another way, when I placed the old rotors on the parts counter, I asked "can you believe these rotors have over 700,000 miles" to which, the parts guy said "Yes, I can believe it".
