found a great condition 1991 300ce today. Since its the weekend i cannot get the mechanic to come and look it over.

Owner says it needs a new tranny. If that is the case, will a tranny from the same year 1991 or up to ? fit in a ce?

Basic question. are 300e trannys interchangible with 300ce's?

Please advise since i need to know asap and have no one to call here on the weekend!
