I read your original thread. Did you check all hoses, especially to and from the Idle Valve. If the hoses are in good shape, remove the idle valve and and check the condition of the in and out ports. If needed, clean it with carb. cleaner.
If it is clogged up it will stall the engine. If the flap inside is open too far, it will cause a high idle.
Just a thought.
