It's a '68 IH Loadstar 1600 dump truck with a 4 spd + 2 spd axle. It appears, from what I can find online, that most of them have the 345 CI V8. It holds 9qts of oil and as stated they are noted for being very smooth running.

I have a '66 Chev C60 2ton dump that we used around the ranch for yrs but it's in need of brakes, drive shaft support bearings and a new bed floor. I can pick up the IH Loadstar for about what it will cost to get the old chev going.

Plus, it just looks really cool.
